The Minister, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI), Dr Okechukwu Enelamah has advised the newly inaugurated board chairmen and members of parastatals and agencies under the ministry to ensure they play their roles in line with the ethics and targets of the Federal Government .
The Minister of state, Hajiya Aisha Abubakar and the Senate Committee Chairman for Industry and Investment, Senator Yusuf Abubakar Yusuf charged them similarly.
This was contained in statement from the ministry at the weekend, co-signed by Josephine Ademu and Funmilayo Olayinde from the Press Unit of the ministry.
Still charging them for delivery, he urged that they ensure that they work tirelessly toward achieving the change mantra of the present government.
Hailing President Muhammad Buhari for appointing people of credibility, he also urged them to deliver as expected.
The Chairman, Senate Committee advised the board chairmen and members to liaise with the legislative committee in order to achieve a common goal.
Speaking on behalf of the appointees, the Chairman, Sugar Company, Bolaji Abdulahi assured Nigerians of the appointees’ willingness to deliver.
