From Lawal Sa’idu Funtua, Katsina
The death has occurred of former Inspector General of Police and Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmadu Commassie.
His juniuor brother, Alhaji Dahiru Commassie who confirmed the death today, said the ex-IGP died in his Katsina resident on Thursday at the age of 76 years.
The deceased IGP was born on the 18th March 1943 and was Nigeria’s Police boss from 1993 to 1999.
He was also the Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, a position he hold until his death.
The family disclosed that the deceased would be buried tomorrow in Katsina.
