Orji rejects Move to C.D Piedade

Date:

Nigerian striker Orji Maduka has turned down a potential switch to LigaPro side C.D. Cova da Piedade.
The Portuguese team have been tracking the Wikki Tourists star since December and have firmed up their interest by inviting him for trials with a view to offering him a deal if successful.
However, the 22-year-old has pledged his loyalty to Wikki Tourists as he intends to see out his contract and does not want to abandon the club he recently joined at the business stage of the season.
Orji Maduka impressed for his new employer in their Nigeria Professional Football League matches against Niger Tornadoes and Kwara United before the World Cup break.
Prior to his move to Wikki Tourists, he had played for Maltese club Hamrun Spartans.
Maduka has training with the Bauchi based club ahead of their next game in the league against Ifeanyi Ubah FC.
