Bauchi varsity pledges support to NIPR

The Vice Chancellor, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Professor Saminu Abdurrahman Ibrahim has explained that the University valued its relationship with the National Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, and assured their support.
Abdurrahman stated this when he received some newly elected officials of the institute on a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of the University in his office.
The Vice Chancellor said members of the institute working in the university are making positive impact in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Professor Abdurrahman promised to support NIPR in the state for effective public relations management in the institution.
The Bauchi State Chairman of the Institute, Alhaji Kabiru Ali Kobi requested the management of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi has been requested to encourage it’s staff who are qualified to register with the NIPR. Kobi said the measure would enable the staff discharge their public relations responsibilities effectively.
He said, the contributions of ATBU and other relevant stakeholders, NIPR in the state has become one of the vibrant in all chapters in the country.
Kobi said the contributions of the ATBU in particular to the progress and development of the Institute cannot be over emphasized.
The state NIPR chairman who said the visit is to cement the existing relationship between the institute and the university, commended the university’s management for upgrading its public relations unit to full directorate.
