The leadership of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT Area Council Service Secretariat (ACSS) has expressed readiness to support a Non-Governmental organization (NGO), Centre for propagation of Good Leadership in Africa, in carrying out its programmes across the six area councils of the territory.

The deputy director in charge of administration at the ACSS, Abraham Ajayi, gave the assurance when the management of the NGO paid him a courtesy visit at the secretariat, recently.

He said he would not hesitate to work with any genuine private organisation that will focus on good development initiatives in the territory.

He urged the officials of NGO to carry out their functions based on the objectives and aims of the organizations for which it was established.

Responding, the FCT co-ordinator of the centre, Isah Adamu, said the purpose of the visit was to partner with the ACSS on promoting development at the grass roots level as well as for the Secretariat to be aware of the organisation’s activities.

The co-ordinator, however, told the gathering that the centre is charged with the responsibility of organizing seminars/workshops for Civil servants as well as elected public officers and appointees, to enlighten them on good governance.
