Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Dioceses, Hassan Matthew Kuka, has described the politicians who defected from one party to another as remaining under the same corruption cycle.
He stated this yesterday during a sermon at the mass wedding ceremony which took place at the Catholic Church in Birnin Kebbi, where he added that politicians that jump from one party to another were the corrupt ones, which he lamented as not being in the best interest of the nation.
“Buhari is our leader and God chose him to lead us, which we have no option than to follow him, he has not done anything wrong that people can complain, all what is happening is our deeds that has followed us, the best solution is prayer”, he added.
Kuka who also pointed out that Nigerians do not need to follow the corrupt politicians whom he said does not have the interest of the masses at heart, added that the defectors are the major problem of the country.
The Rev. Father, who was in Binrin Kebbi on Sunday to witness a Catholic mass wedding, called on the celebrants to leave in peace with one another, and also assured them that the church supports and will cooperate with them towards achieving their marital objectives.
