Niger State Governor, Farmer Umaru Bago, has appointed six Commissioners-designate, subject to confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
The appointees are Lucky Barau (Gurara), Isah Wakili (Bosso), Dr. Isah Adamu (Kontagora), Emmanuel Alamu (Magama), Shuaibu Saidu Kaboji (Mashegu), and Mohammed Danladi Garba (Borgu).
The Governor also appointed Alh. Nma Kolo as Chief Political Adviser, alongside Yahaya Emilugi (Zone A), Yusuf Tagwai (Zone B, and Salman Yusuf (Zone C) as Special Advisers on Political Matters.
