Zamfara Govt assures 8,500 new JTF members families adequate welfare

The Zamfara state government has promised offering comprehensive care on the family of any of the 8,500 recently recruited JTF members that may lost life while in the fight against dreaded groups of armed bandits ravaging the face of the state.
This was announced yesterday by the state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Bello Dankande Gamji while presenting four million naira being reward as promised by the state government, to three persons who toiled to recover four illegally occupied AK47 rifles from the hands of armed bandits.
“The three AK47 were jointly recovered by two brave persons in Bukkuyum local government and one another in Bindin district under Maru local government areas respectively, making the number of recovered AK47 to eight so far, including four others earlier recovered in Zurmi and Maradun local government areas” Dankande has noted.
Dankande said, Governor Abdulaziz Yari-led administration had promised to give 50 bags of assorted grains and the sum of one million naira to each family that may lost their breadwinner in the course of fights against the nasty activities of cattle rustlers, kidnappers, armed bandits and or armed robbers bedeviled the state.
He further informed that, the state government would continue paying the one million naira being promised reward to any individual or group of persons that either snatch or lead to the recovery of deadly AK47 rifle or rifles and other related man-killing firearms as that would expedite efforts by security agencies in getting rid of criminal activities in the state.
“The security agencies are also not left out, if they recover 100 AK47 rifles, that means there would be a reward of 100 million naira or so for them depending how many they fight to recover”, he assured.
