The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT, Engr Jibril Gani, has said that if elected in this year’s general elections into the area council, his administration would focus on human development in order to assist the youths roaming about in the streets in Gwagwalada.
He also said his administration would award scholarship to the less privileged youths in the area, pointing out that the scholarship would cut across the students schooling in the higher institutions as well as secondary school level.
Gani, who stated this in an interview with Peoples Daily correspondent in Gwagwalada, further said his administration would give priority attention to roads rehabilitation as well link the roads to some communities.
He added that he would construct drainages in order to channel waterways from one place to another to avoid flooding in the area.
He then said if elected he would provide an enabling environment for the people of Gwagwalada and its environs, adding that Youth Empowerment would be given top priority.
He, however, appealed to the residents of the ten political wards in Gwagwalada to come out en masse to vote for him during the election in the area, as he said this would help him to accomplish his
