Buhari’ll build on 2015 campaign promises, says Masari

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has disclosed that reelected President Muhammadu Buhari will build on the three key areas he promised in the 2015 campaign.
Masari made the disclosure yesterday in Katsina shortly after the president was declared the winner of February 23rd presidential election.
He added that, the three key areas to be built on include: security, economic revival and fighting corruption.
“The president will look at the progress achieved in these areas and shortcomings. New ways will be devised to strengthening them “ he stressed.
Masari pledged that the President will lay a solid foundation for the progress, unity and development of the country.
The governor said the election has shown the acceptability of the president by all sections of the country which he added will further strengthened its unity.
He similarly thanked Nigerians for coming out en masse to vote for the president, praising the people of Katsina state for their solidarity with the president by giving 100% support for him during the election.
He urged eligible voters in the state to also come out during the gubernatorial election to vote for all APC candidate in the election.
Similarly, Masari cautioned opposition against embrassing self-help, advising them to take the option of legal redress if they have any issue with the election.
