In order to forestall the incessant killings occurring in Kajuru local government area, the Kaduna state government is planning to build a strike force base in Maro village, the local government chairman Hon Cafra Caino has disclosed.
He made the revelation while answering questions yesterday during an AIT program(Kakaaki) monitored in Kaduna.
Mr Caino, said that the incursion of bandits in the local government prompted the action by the state government so as to end the wanton loss of lives.
He further said that “the bandits are not the normal Fulani that we have amongst us.”
He also said that the he has faith in the panel of inquiry set up by the state government to look into the killings that had been occurring in the area.
However, a former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Barrister Mark Jacob, said that the people of Southern Kaduna do not have faith in commission of inquiry set up by the state government.
He added that the state government had been selecting people to speak on the issue who are not the leaders of the Adara people.
He further said that the Adara people are willing to make peace with everybody as they are law abiding people.
