In an effort to actualise the approval of thirty thousand minimum wage and to ensure better civil service delivery in Jigawa state, Governor Muhammad Abubakar Badaru yesterday inaugurated the appraisal, rationalisation and realignment of Ministries Department and Agencies (MDAs) committee.
The inauguration of the fifteen- member committee took place at Government House Dutse under the leadership of state Deputy Governor Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia and Acting Head of Civil Service, Hussaini Ali Kila as secretary to the committee.
The governor explained that, some of the terms and references include ascertain the level of implementation of realignment of the MDA’s and to identify whether there is a conflicting function and mandate between the MDAs.
He added that, other terms of references are appraise existing realigned MDAs with the law established them and lastly to make appropriate recommendation to the government for possible consideration.
Governor Badaru then, wishes the committee Allah’s guidance in the discharge of their duties.
