Be ambassador for peace, Imam Khalid urges Muslims

Muslims have been urged not to forget the lessons of the month of Ramadan, but maintain its benefits by been more tolerance, love and Peaceful for others by praying for the nation’s leaders.
Chief Imam, Apo Legislative Quarters mosque, Imam Muhammad Khalid, gave the advice recently in Apo during the Ramadan Lecture and Ramadan Special Prayers for Nation , by the FCT Mosques and Ramadan Services Organization (MORAS) it is important for Muslims to maintain and improve on their spiritual and other successes gained during Ramadan period and continue perform their civic duties to make country a better place through their prayers.
“It is equally important for all to continue to pray for the success of our leaders in the interest of the country and the citizenry.
Muslims must continue to love one another for the betterment of the society,” Imam Khalid said.
The Chairman, MORAS, Dr. Hussain Abdallah-Rahman, said the organisation has reached 20 years in offering services to the Muslims and also serving as guide for other mosques)due to the series of reforms in mosque managements including taking care of the mosques environment
According to him, it is our duty for prayers for the wellbeing of the nation and our leaders so that the challenges of kidnapping, banditry and insurgency among other social ills will be a thing of the past.
“This administration has tried their best but they needs our support for them to do more which through our prayers they will be in better place to tackle especially the area of counter-insurgency.
There have done well to bring Boko Haram down and with more support from Nigerians the country will be more secured”
