The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Malam Shehu Mohammed, has expressed concern over declining discipline and professionalism among field commands.
Addressing officers and men of the FRSC Sector Command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), on Tuesday, in Abuja, Mohammed warned that misconduct and abuse of authority would no longer be tolerated.
In his opening remark, the Corps Marshal described the meeting as a deliberate intervention aimed at correcting operational lapses and restoring public confidence in the service.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mohammed, who was represented by Corps Commander (CC), Oludare Ogunjobi, explained that the recent deployment of senior officers to various commands was a strategic move prompted by troubling operational reports.
He noted that the postings were not routine administrative actions but urgent steps to address observed trends of indiscipline.
