Bauchi Assembly is a one united family – BASG

BauchiState Government BASG has explained that Bauchi Legislature is one Unitedfamily, The issue of another proclamation Is ludicrous.
Thestate Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir stated this when he reacted to the recentvisit to the President by eight out of the 17 APC law makers to presidentBuhari led by Adams Oshiomole over the Assembly leadership
Astatement signed by Dr Ladan Salihu Spokesperson to the Governor said “attentionof the State Government is drawn to the Courtesy Call on President MuhammaduBuhari by Eight Members of the State Assembly, led by the APC Chairman Mr AdamsOshionmole. The Government notes that while Stakeholders defer to MrPresident and updates to him are normal, we must must dignify his office withthe correct information and true position of things”.
Hesaid ”The Eight Members led by the APC National Chairman were part of the 17who were sworn in last week on the floor of the Assembly. All the 31Legislators are now Members of One State Assembly.The Media is awash with theVideo, Audio and Print materials that captured the Swearing in Ceremony”.
TheGovernor appreciates the pronouncement of the President to deal with the issuein line with the Constitution because he is a President for all. “What isclear is that Our President was shortchanged with the relevant information bythose who led the Group for their personal interests and primordialdispositions. As far as the Government and People of Bauchi State areconcerned, the enforced disharmony is now history. Bauchi Legislature is oneUnited family. The issue of another proclamation Is ludicrous”.
Hesaid “It is clear that our Legislators are not the problem, neither is the APC.Mr Oshionmole is the Problem. He is Clear and Present Danger to politicalStability in Bauchi State. This explains why he excluded Members of Edo StateAssembly from visit to the Villa.
Thestatement said The APC Chairman should rethink his strategy as it is dead onarrival because he is dealing with Political Paper-Tigers who were roundlydefeated and soundly rejected by our People.
