Christians have been implored to always live by example, love each other and embrace peaceful coexistence, irrespective of background.
President, Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Rev. Dachollom Datiri, who made the call, urged all Christians to shun acts that do don’t represent Christ.
Speaking at the recent ordination of pastors of the church in Gwagwalada-Abuja, Datiri attributed the present roblems bedeviling the country to human nature and its sinful tendencies.
He noted that the only way out of the problems is when Christians begin to live like Jesus Christ in all their dealings.
Earlier in a remark, the chairman of COCIN-RCC FCT, Rev. Chrysanthus Bala, said he was happy seeing the new development of the church in Gwagwalada.
According to him, “as a community of faith we owe the society certain obligations that must be fulfilled.
“We must live by example, love each other and embrace peaceful coexistence, irrespective of one’s background, for effective furtherance of the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
Highlight of the occasion was the ordination of 11 pastors by the COCIN president, Rev. Dachollom Datiri, which was witnessed by dignitaries from all works of life, including the representative of the Aguma of Gwagwalada, Alhaji Muhammadu Magaji and that of the Area Council chairman, Alhaji Mustapha Adamu Danze.
