Undergraduate student of the University of Abuja, Umar Faruk Aliu, who is also a film producer, has called on the government of the day to empower the film makers financially to grow.
He also charged the corporate organisations as well as individuals to encourage the film producers, so as to actualise their dreams.
Aliu, who made the call in an interview with our correspondent after the launching of the film album titled “45 minutes movie” at the Atlas Hotel in Gwagwalada on Sunday.
He said he came up with fifty-five minutes movie in order to project the image of Nigeria Police Force in the right dimension.
He said there was the need for the nation’s film producers to project the image of policemen, instead of concentrating on their negative attitudes.
“There are a lot of movie in our industries today, busy talking about the negative aspects of our policemen “, Aliu said.
His words: “The movie is all about the young lady who felt so cheated, instead of hurting someone she hurt herself in a quest for danger”.
The film producer, however, advised Nigerian youths to work hard in order to meet up with basic necessities of life, and warned Nigerians against piracy.
