Alleged land encroachment: Arewa group slams 7-day ultimatum on 9mobile

Arewa Youth Movement for Good Governance has expressed dismay over the mounting of telecommunication mask on National Eye Centre land by 9mobile without permission.
The coordinator of the group, Comrade Ibrahim Ibrahim Ahmadu stated this in statement made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
According to the statement, the actions of management of 9mobile, one of Nigeria’s Telecommunication Company is unbelievable.
The statement added that youths from the neighbouring Asalama aleku area behind National Eye drew its attention to the illegality.
” We did our investigation and truly the management of the Centre is not aware, 9mobile don’t even have KASUPDA approval and as I speak to you now, a mask has been erected, and so many construction work ongoing.”
” Permit me to use this medium call on Governor Nasir Ahmed El-rufai of Kaduna state to rise and protect the Federal Government property in his domain ”
Meanwhile effort to reach 9mobile proved abortive as their men on Yakubu Gowon way office refused to comment stressing that they were not authorized .” the statement reads.
He they also gave 9mobile 7days ultimatum beginning from Friday 27 December 2019 and if they refuse to dismantle the mask, the Group vowed to mobilize one million man March against 9mobile.
Investigation by our reporter revealed that both National Eye Centre and KASUPDA were not contacted before the mounting of the Mask.
