Village head begs FCTA, AMAC chair for schools

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) as well as the Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the FCT, Mr Abdullahi Adamu Candido have been called upon to build both junior and senior secondary schools in Gui community to enable the children have access to education there.
The Village Head of Gui ward in Abuja Municipal Area Council, Mallam Abdulrahaman Sarki who made the call in an interview with our correspondent in the community on Sunday, also pleaded with FCT Administration as well as the government of AMAC to repair the dilapidated roads in the community.
He specifically urged the chairman of AMAC to construct a bridge that links to Kuje Area Council, so as to enable the residents of Gui Community get access to Kuje easily without passing through the airport road.
He further asked the chairman to provide transformers in Gui community to boost socio-economic activities there, while urging the council boss to provide portable drinking water for the community.
Speaking on the rainy season farming, Sarki, solicited the assistance of the FCT Administration and AMAC chairman to provide ferti11lizers and insecticides to farmers on time during the cropping season.
The traditional ruler, however, appealed to AMAC boss to increase the salaries of the monarchs to enable them meet the needs of their people.
