The management of liberty newspaper has conferred media award on the health officer in charge of the Primary Healthcare izom in Gurara Local Government Area of Niger state, Chief Adamu Muhammed Ciroma.
Presenting the award, the Deputy Editor of Liberty newspaper, Mr Abubakar Ibrahim, said the media award was bestowed on the Health Officer based on his outstanding contributions towards the progress of health sector in izom community and Niger state at large.
The Deputy Editor further said the Izom health officer was honoured due to his selfless service rendered at the rural dwellers’ hospitals.
Responding, the awardee of the day, Muhammed Ciroma thanked the leadership of liberty newspaper for the honour done to him.
He pointed out that award which was conferred on him would ginger him to do more for Izom Community in terms of healthcare delivery.
Ciroma also thanked the District Head of Izom, Galadinma of Izom and the Director in charge of Health in Gurara Local Government for attending the occasion.
