The Executive Chairman of Yaliam Press Ltd., Yahaya Amfani, has congratulated the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, on his emergence as the Most Innovative Cabinet Minister for 2025 in Abuja.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Amfani described the award as a well-deserved recognition of Alausa’s visionary leadership and sweeping reforms aimed at transforming Nigeria’s education sector for national development.

He noted that the minister had, within a short period, introduced bold and forward-looking policies that reposition education as a critical driver of economic growth, youth empowerment, and long-term national competitiveness.

According to Amfani, the reforms reflect innovation that goes beyond technology, highlighting strategic vision, decisive leadership, and a strong commitment to addressing long-standing challenges in the sector.

He commended ongoing efforts in data-driven governance, integration of digital learning, and curriculum reforms designed to align Nigeria’s education system with global standards and evolving labour market demands.

Amfani also highlighted progress in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), infrastructure upgrades, and skills-based learning initiatives aimed at improving employability and supporting economic diversification.

He further praised reforms targeted at improving access, affordability, and transparency in education agencies, as well as enhanced collaboration with private sector stakeholders to boost service delivery and institutional performance.

The Yaliam Press chairman listed key achievements to include the rehabilitation of medical schools, development of anti-bullying policies, revitalisation of libraries, resolution of university labour disputes, and reintegration of out-of-school children through Almajiri education reforms.

He expressed confidence that the recognition validates President Bola Tinubu’s decision to appoint Alausa, adding that the award would further accelerate education reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.
