Seun Kuti, son of late Afro-beat king, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, has been widely criticized for the perceived ‘odd’ naming of his newly- born daughter.
According to reports, the newest entrant into the Kuti dynasty was christened ‘Ifafunmike’ which means “A child gotten from a deity”.
This action has not gone down well with many of his fans, who criticized the naming.
A fan who pleaded anonymity, opined that what Seun did is an indication that there is more to it than meets the eye.
“Why will Seun go ahead and name his new-born baby ‘Ifafunmike’? It is rather absurd and shows that there is a spiritual undertone to the event. It is ungodly. His contemporaries who have been getting married and delivering babies have not done this kind of thing. I am disappointed,” the fan said.
