Kebbi govt to register contributing health members

Kebbi State Contributory Health Care Management Agency has concluded arrangements to commence the registration of members who would benefits from the contributory Health care scheme.
This was disclosed yesterday by the executive secretary of the agency Dr. Jafaru Mohammed Augie when addressing members of Birnin Kebbi District Association who are on official visit to the agency adding that the programme will bring sanity to the health care services delivery to the State.
He explained further that if any communities have the ability to register at least 4800 per head for a period of one year they will be guaranteed to enjoy the health care services from the agency.
“You see a token amount of N400 is expected as monthly contribution from an individual” he added.
He also emphasized that very soon the agency will embark on the sensitization campaign for the people to aware the activities and important of the agency.
Responding, the Village Head of Nakrora Gwnadu Nuhu Usman Bashar thank the agency for enlighten them the benefit of the programme adding that their aim of visiting is to enquire on the modus oparandi.
“we have embarked on the sensitization campaign to all the 11 villages under it and so far had got a contribution of N2.3 while the emir himself donated the sum of N600,000” he added.
He pointed out that the association is targeting eight persons each from the 11 villages that will benefit under the district after the registration while urged the peoples and stakeholders to support the programme financially to ensured that less privilege enjoy the services.
