The Former Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate in the 2019 election in Kwara state Comrade Issa Aremu has commended President Muhammadu Buhari leadership by example for observing this year’s Eid-el-Kabir prayers with his family members at home.
He stated this in a statement made available to media in kaduna yesterday.
He also commended state governors who obeyed the guidelines of NCDC with respect to curtailing the spread of the Coronavirus pendemic during and after the sallah.
According to the Labour leader Nigerians must sacrifice their conveniences by maintaining social distancing and wearing face masks to protect lives during this great Feast of the Sacrifice”.
He expressed special appreciation to the Saudi authorities who have shown what good governance means by organizing HADJI with new normal even showcasing the significance of Hadji as act of Ibada and faith in Allah.
Aremu said this year festival is the most unique EID at times of pandemic which has claimed 673, 000 lives world wide regardless of religions and race.
