The General officer commanding 3 Division Jos Brigadier General Musa Danmidami has assured safety of residents who suffered insecurity in the north eastern part of the country.
General Danmidami made the disclosure when he paid a courtesy call to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya at Government House chamber on Thursday.
He said his familiarization visit to Gombe state governor was to introduce himself and discuss issues related to insecurity in the north east region.
The GOC while emphasizing the relative peace in Gombe state assured military commitment to tackled insurgency in the north east.
