Group urges Gov Matawalle to implement recommendations by former IGP’s C’tee

Voice of Zamfara a non political organization has called on Governor Bello Matawalle to for the sake ensuring total restoration of normalcy in the state, implement recommendations submitted by the committee for lasting solution to banditry and other criminal activities under chairmanship of former IGP M. D Abubakar.
In a press conference by the state Chairman of the Voice of Zamfara, Malam Muhammad Salisu Moriki, said by implementing such the committee’s recommendations, the state would have been put in a safer position to the extent both economic and social activities will return.
Salisu Moriki, who made the call while condemning the decision to staged a protest over security challenges bedeviled the state by the Coalition of Northern Groups in Gusau the state capital recently during which they called for the arrest of some suspected individuals allegedly in romance with bandits in the state.
“The Association has observed, with dismay, the recently organised protest in the state as organised by a group called Coalition for Northern Group, calling for the arrests of some politicians in the state allegedly having connection with banditry.”
