The Falconets Head Coach, Peter Dedevbo has assured Flamingoes’ trio of immediate inclusion in his preliminary 35-man list for the 2014 Fifa Women’s World Cup in Canada.
The former Flamingoes coach was specific to hand the side’s captain, Chinwendu Ihezuo an invitation if she excelled at the just concluded Fifa Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica together with other outstanding teammates.
However, Dedevbo said the only Flamingoes guaranteed of invitation to his side is the side’s vice captain and winger, Uchenna Kanu and two undisclosed ones.
Nigeria will campaign against England, Mexico and Korea Republic for the Group C tickets at the 16-team biennial global football showpiece which runs from August 05-24 in Edmonton, Moncton, Montreal and Toronto.
Falconets first game will be against Mexico on August 06 while Korea Republic and England will queue up on August 09 and 13 respectively, the best two progress to the last eight.
