As part of the effort to embrace peace among citizenry Gombe state Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has called on the people to show resilience by embracing peace in order to learn differences that occurred in 2020 and move the state forward.
Governor Yahaya in his new year message said “as we enter 2021, citizens in the state will have opportunity to renew their faith by walking according to God command in order to benefit the state and the country.”
While acknowledging resilience of the people towards socio-economic difficulties in 2020 by the Covid-19 Pandemic and its devastating impact on livelihood, he urged them to maintain their undying spirit and enter 2021 with hope and renewed their faith.
The Governor expressed optimism that the year 2021 will be a bright and prosperous one for Gombe state and Nigeria, citing his recent signing of the 2021 budget of resilience and the planned kick-starting of the Gombe State 10-year Development plan ( 2021-2030) which he said place his government on course to deliver on its far-reaching agenda of good governance, effective service delivery and sustainable growth.
