NFF, Keshi to hold parley meeting in Abuja

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) technical committee will next week meet with Stephen Keshi to harmonise the provisional list of players for the World Cup, which the coach is expected to submit to the committee before it is made public.

The spokesman of the executive board member of the NFF, who disclosed this yesterday during a world press conference in Abuja, called on Nigerians and sports media to rally round the Super Eagles in order to succeed in Brazil.

The meeting which is billed to hold at the federation’s boardroom in Abuja is expected to settle all the tension and misunderstanding that has existed between the coach and the NFF.

NFF president Aminu Maigari is expected to have a media chat alongside Keshi after the meeting.

The Eagles are seeking a place in at least the last eight to best their second round previous best and they have Argentina, Iran and Bosnia to contend with in the first round when the World Cup starts in Brazil in June.
