The General Manager, Delta State Urban Water Cooperation ( DESUWACO) Engr Nosa Okoh on Wednesday said that the number of water connections to various homes in Delta State would increase by 30percent in 2021, disclosing that no fewer than 20,000 households in the state would benefit from the public water supply this year.
Engr Nosa Okoh who spoke to Journalists in Asaba however assured that areas that had not been metered would be covered by the first quarter of the year 2021, adding that” Our goal is to ensure plant where DESUWACO was working will be treated to enable us provide clean and safe water for the people”.
He said that the corporation would ensure that their staff were treated tremendously well to enable them give their best to ensure that the project meets its goal.
