The management of Madarasatul Nuru Hakilitalimul Arabiyya Wal-Islamiyya Zuba in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Sunday graduated a total number of six students.
The names of the grandaunts are Abdulwasiu Abdulwasiu Tunwase, Habiba Abdulwasiu Tunwase, Halima Abdulwasiu Tunwase, Muhammed Jamiu Bello, Basira Isah Adenuga and Abdul Mu’Ez Isah Adenuga.
Speaking with Peoples Daily correspondent at the graduation ceremony, the principal of the school, Utaz Musa Tijjani, advised the grandaunts to be good ambassadors of the school anywhere they found themselves.
He also charged the parents of the grandaunts to send their children to both Islamic schools and Western schools to acquire sound education.
He said: “The good legacy the responsible parents can leave for their children is sound education”.
Tijjani appealed to Islamic scholars to remain committed in imparting knowledge on the children, saying that it is only God that can reward them.
On his part, the keynote speaker of the occasion, Sheikh Mufatau Baba-commander, urged the grandaunts to deem it necessary to acquire more knowledge on Islamic education.
Meanwhile, the Oba of Yoruba community in the FCT, Oba Olusegun Salau and the Otunba of Yoruba community in the FCT, Dr Wasiu Tunwase among other dignitaries attended the graduation ceremony.
