Nurse burnt to death in Benue

A nurse with Buruku local government area of Benue State Mrs. Aonodozungwe is reported to have been burnt to ashes in her house by unknown person(s).
The incident happened at the weekend just as Police authority said they were not aware that the woman was set ablaze by unknown persons.
Benue State Police Command spokes person DSP Catherine Anene who confirmed the incident, told our correspondent on phone on Monday that they received a report from their division in Buruku local government area that a woman was burnt to death and they have commenced investigation into the incident.
Peoples daily gathered that the fire incident started at midnight even as neighbors could not rescue the deceased because from the intensity of the fire but merely watched helplessly as the entire house was engulfed by the inferno.
The incident, it was learnt threw the entire community into terror and grief.
The late Mrs Aondozungwe was reported to have been a peace loving woman, who minded her business. It is still a wonder why anyone will hatch and execute such a wicked act against her.
Information at the time of writing this report indicated that her charred body had since being buried.
