Child spacing: Women solicit govt support to supply commodities in Gombe

As part of the effort to ensure child spacing in the society, women in Gombe state have solicited government support to supply commodities across Primary Health Care Centers.
In an interview with Journalists to access the level of patronage regarding to child spacing in the state, one Amina Nuhu fertility manager of Primary Health care centre in Kumbiya-kumbiya in Gombe told reporters that the level of patronage regarding to child spacing among women have increased.
She said child spacing is at the increase now compared to previous years.
Mrs. Nuhu who attributed the effort made by the clients said no fewer than 220 women with an average of 80 percent per month goes for child spacing in Kumbiya-kumbiya Primary Health care Center.
She appreciated Gombe state government for supplying adequate commodities to serve women regarding to child spacing.
She appealed to the state government to do as much possible to provide the health center with manpower to enable an effective health care delivery.
Speaking out of their experiences, some clients at Kumbiya-kumbiya Primary Health Care Center, Karimatu Nuhu and Ya’ami Tanko both appreciated Gombe state government for their support towards enhancing the lives of women.
