The Athletics Federation of Nigeria has re-elected its incumbent President for the second term to mount the activities of the federation for the next four year.
The election which was held in Birnin Kebbi on Monday with twenty two delegates include; the former Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalong, President of South Sudan Athletics Federation, General Samir Khamis as observers.
In his acceptance speech, the incumbent President and newly elected President , Engineer Ibrahim Shehu Gusau, assured that its administration will immediately start work towards the development of sports in the country.
He admonished the other faction to come as one family and sit down to resolve the long fight for the betterment of the sports in Nigeria.
