Maigari replaces Ohieme as NSCDC FCT Commandant

Commandant Peter Maigari has replaced Commandant Mathias Ohieme as the leader of FCT Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).

Maigari, who has served the corps deligently at different levels and capacities hails from Kaduna State.

In a brief and handover ceremony graced by high ranking officers and men of the FCT COMMAND, Ohieme, the outgoing Commandant urged officers and men to extend the same support he enjoyed to his successor.

He described Maigari as a no nonse officer, who will no doubt move the corps to a greater heights.

Responding, Maigari expressed his appreciation to the outgoing commandant and promised to build on the structure he has left on ground.

Commandant Maigari said his assignment is to restructure, reposition, reawaken, revamp and rejig the FCT Command.

He therefore called on the personnel to cooperate with him to achieve the set objectives, noting that he was poised to give the residents of the FCT a peaceful Territory to thrive in.

It was gathered that Maigari last served in Kogi state before his transfer to the FCT Command.
