This, he identified as one of the reasons why the community remained backward, after years of existence.
In particular, he said lack of the council’s commitment to the plights of Karyada residents was killing business and other human activities of the area.
Ibrahim alleged that since the assumption of office by the present council chairman, Abdullahi Galadima has failed to liaise with the community members on how to move the place forward.
The community spokesman said Karyada as one of the heavy populated areas in Kuje town has been abandoned by the chairman, saying the negligence had led to backwardness.
According to him, in spite of all efforts to draw the attention of the chairman to issues that hinder the development of the place the chairman gave deaf eyes to them.
He maintained that the Karyada bypass project is being delayed due to none consultation with the stakeholders.
He adds: “Most of the things are not going well with us here, because nobody cares about us.”
