The National Working Committee, NWC,
of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has named a 25-member gubernatorial Electoral Appeal Panel for Anambra State.
The Panel, which has the National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus as Chairman, will consider appeals arising from the conduct of the Anambra State Gubernatorial Primary Election.
This was confirmed in a statement yesterday by the National Organizing Secretary, NOS, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd).
The National Secretary of the party, Senator Umaru Ibrahim Tsauri, will serve as a member/Secretary of the panel.
According to the statement by Akobundu, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our great party, the PDP, has approved the nomination of the following party members to serve on the Gubers Electoral Appeal Panel.
“The Panel will consider appeals arising from the conduct of the Anambra State Gubernatorial Primary Election”, it said.
Members of the panel are; Elder Yemi Akinwonmi, Sen. Sulaiman Nazif, Col Austin Akobundu, Dr. Agbo Emmanuel, Hon. Abdullahi MAIBASIRA, Hon. Adewale Aribisala, Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan, Hajia (Mrs.) Maryam Waziri, Hon. S.K.E Udeh Okoye, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, Alh. Mai Adamu Mustapha, Amb. Taofik Arapaja and Hon. Theophilus Dakas Shan.
Others are; Chief. Dan Orbih, Dr. Emmanuel Bovoa, Chief Ali Odefa,
Dr. Aminu Abdullahi, Alhaji Sule Lamido, Alh. Adamu Maina Waziri, Sen. David A.B Mark, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu,
Erelu Olusola Obada and Sen. Emmanuel Ibokessien.
The Appeal Panel seating is scheduled to begin sitting today (Tuesday, June 29, 2021) by 1pm.
The venue: of the panel s sitting is the NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja FCT.
