Declare state of emergency in Nigeria to curb insecurity, cleric tells Buhari

Worried by the insecurity bedeviling the country, president Muhammadu Buhari has been called upon to declare state of emergency in the country.
The Bishop of Kaduna Diocese, Anglican Communion Bishop Timothy Yahaya made the call while speaking on the state of the nation in Kaduna yesterday.
He said leadership at the national level have accepted the reality that the insecurity challenges are not easy task for Nigerians, hence the need for the state of emergency
The cleric added that the state of emergency should allow for more recruiting despots across the country to recruit soldiers and policemen in thousands to beat the men in the bush.
