The Chairman of the Governing Council of the Delta State Polytechnic at Otefe-Oghara, Barrister Andrew Ogheneaga Orugbo, has stated that Delta State needed more universities.
Orugbo stated this in a chat with Journalists on Thursday.
He remarked that establishing more universities in Delta State was one of the good things Governor Ifeanyi Okowa had done in the state.
Orugbo questioned the rationale of Deltans going to other states of the federation and abroad, looking for university admission, adding that it was an index of the urgent need for more universities to attend to the very many qualified Deltans seeking university admission in the state.
