Nwosu replaces Mike Brown as head Coach of D’Tigers to Angola

Julius Nwosu has been appointed as coach of the Men’s senior national team of Nigeria, D’Tigers to replace Mike Brown.

Julius, 51, will lead former African champions to Angola the venue for the African World Cup Qualifiers. The former NBA and D’Tigers star was one of the delegation that left Nigeria for the competition on Tuesday.

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) had released the 11-man list of players that who had arrived in Angola to execute the World Cup Qualifiers. Top on the list marked the return of Ike Diogu who missed the 2020 Olympics. Fir the first in a long while, three home based also made the final cut.
