The leadership of Bomo Deoku Social Club Zuba, Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Sunday celebrated fifteen years’ anniversary as the club appealed for N 15million to build its hall in the area.
Speaking to Peoples Daily correspondent during the celebration of the anniversary in Zuba, the patron of the club, Dr Wasiu Tunwase, who is also the Otunba of Yoruba community in the FCT, urged the leadership of the club to continue to handle the club diligently.
Tunwase said he would continue to support the club 100% in order to achieve its goals for the members.
He noted that despite the challenges faced by the club the leadership of the club had done a lot of things, and prayed for the executives to get more money to build the hall.
He, explained that the executives, as well as the members of the social club, are always ready to take advice from the elders that will move the club to the next level.
The Bomo Deoku Social Club Patron, therefore, used the occasion to call on the entire Yoruba in the FCT to live as one indivisible entity for the sake of togetherness.
When asked to comment on the 2022 FCT Area councils’ elections, Otunba charged the Yoruba to vote for credible candidates who would take them to the promised land.
