From Ahmad Muhammad, Bauchi

The newly appointed Bauchi State Police commissioner  Umar Mamman Sanda has resumed duty.

Sanda took over from outgoing commissioner, Sylvester Abiodun Alabi who was  posted to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

Speaking after he received the mantle of leadership in the State, Sanda said his operational model will be proactive in nature and will be based on the best practices of effective policing within the community.

Sanda warned that his administration will not condone indolence from any person nor will it tolerate any act of corruption in whatever form.
