A top contender for Benue Governorship in 2023 Chief Patrick Ogbu has said he will be committed irrevocably to service as well as strive to further transform the State if elected.
He added that his Government will guarantee peace and prosperity of Benue people.
Chief Ogbu who made these promises during a parley with newsmen at the Yuletide, pledged to focus on security by leveraging on Governor Samuel Ortom’s security policies, improve the internally Generated Revenue, construct access rural roads for transportation of agricultural produce by farmers.
The one time Chairman, Board of Directors Nigerian Television Authority, NTA said he will turn the appellation of Benue as ‘Civil Service State’, to an ‘Industrialized State’.
“These are companies/industries established by former Governor Aper Aku. We should improve on them and carry on with ours so that posterity will judge us positively.
“We will promote enterprenuership as a way of engaging the youths meaningfully.
On Idoma Governorship, he opined that for fairness and equity, the plum seat should go to Benue South district so that they can fulfill their dreams and aspiration.
