A three day sensitization workshop on new media  to check the culture of official document leakages for selected civil servants has commenced in Katsina.

Alhaji Idris Usman Tune, the state Head of Civil Service, while declaring the workshop open, restated the state government’s commitment to train and retrain its workforce for better productivity.

Tune represented by Alhaji Musa Rabiu Mahuta, the Permanent Secretary, Department of Establishment, Pension and Training explained that, the workshop was meant to train the participants on proper use of the social media in public service.

He decried the increasing rate of the disclosure of government secret, saying that, the exercise would sensitize the participants on the dangers of leaking government documents.
