A Presidential aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023 general elections, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, has advised eligible voters in Nigeria not to elect people who use public funds to bribe people and put them into public office.
He warned that if individuals whose sources of wealth are questionable emerge as leaders, it may enthrone ‘corrupt and unaccountable leaders’ who will not only ride rough shod on the electorates, but further impoverish Nigerians.
He disclosed this while fielding questions from journalists at the sidelines of his visit to the Benin monarch, Oba Ewuare II on Wednesday in Benin City, Edo State Capital.
