NCPC boss celebrates two years achievements in office

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Rev.Dr. Yakubu Pam has celebrated two years in Office.

The Staff and friends of the Executive Secretary were all gathered in the Conference hall of the NCPC Corporate headquarters in Abuja to celebrate with him.

The NCPC boss in his remarks thanked God for his appointment and also appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for finding him worthy and deserving to superintend over the affairs of NCPC at a time like this.

Rev. Pam explained that although his assumption of office was at the most challenging time when the world stood still for the ravaging and most dreaded COVID 19 global pandemic which destabilized all facets of human endeavour.

He however said, “We were able to succeed because God was on our side and we were focused and determined to change the narrative”.

NCPC boss further explained that in 2021 the Commission carried out a thorough examination of its enabling Act which empowers it to carry out pilgrimage activities to the Holy Sites around the world and since Israel borders were shut down against international pilgrims, the need to explore other pilgrimage destinations became imperative.
