Niger State All Progressives Congress (APC), gubernatorial candidate, Mohammed Umar Bago has distributed farming inputs worth millions of naira.

He donated N10 million cash to 500 farmers from the 25 local government areas of the state.

Bago made this known at the disbursements of farm tools in collaboration with the Federal College of Agriculture Dadin Kowa -Gombe,  Federal Ministry of Agriculture and ENDO System International in Minna.

The APC gubernatorial candidate explained that the high rate of insecurity has reduced food production, hence the need to boost farm productivity for food security and economic stability in the state and Nigeria.

The Lawmaker called on the youths to embrace agriculture and depend less on dependent oil and white collar jobs.
