A member of the Partnership for Issue Base Campaign in Nigeria (PICAN), Yusuf Goje has lamented the failure of past promises by political actors, saying that most of the manifestos and agenda presented to people during the campaign are written by hired professionals.
He asserted this during a one-day reflection of engagement with party candidates, supported by the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Governance programme Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn (PERL), held in Kaduna yesterday.
According to him, most politicians do not go through manifestos and agenda to ensure those promises are implementable or not before voicing it to the populace.
