A new brand of drink brewed by Benue indigenes has been formally launched into Nigerian Distillery industry.
The drink known as ‘Oyi Bitters’ brewed by Exponent Distilleries Limited was launched on Wednesday in Makurdi, amidst funfair and excitement.
Speaking during the media unveiling of the product, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr Desmond Edwin, said that Oyi bitters is entering the market with an uncommon gusto.
According to him, out of the over hundreds of bitters brand in the Nigerian market, not up to five could be said to be reliable in terms of sourcing and production.
