The Chief Coach of the Super Eagles Stephen Keshi has said the rationale behind Eagles striker, Brown Ideye exclusion from the World Cup team was lack of scoring and pace.
One of the names that were conspicuously missing from the thirty man provisional list released by Chief Coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi were Villarreal of Spain striker, Ike Uche, Germany based striker Chinedu Obasi and former Super Eagles goal banger, Obafemi Martin.
Of all the players that were dropped, the dropping of Brown Ideye will come to so many as a surprise as Keshi is said to be very fond of the player whom he had continued to invite to the team despite the criticism that have trailed his invitation.
The argument has been that the Dynamo Kiev of Ukraine striker has a very low scoring rate in the national team.
